More Homecoming Dance Photo Shoot

There were lots and lots of pictures from the groups photo shoot. I have to blog most of them. It is such fun and I need to preserve all these memories.
Such wonderful friendships these girls have made. Getting ready for the dance together.
Isn't that what we all want? A group of friends who accept and love you for who you are?
I can see the bonds they are making will last a life time. I'm loving it!
Laughing.... Now where do they want us to pose??
 Just little kids at heart.
Wait.... You want me where?
 I'm loving this.
 Soooo pretty!
Please.... will you go to the dance with me?
Danielle and Kara. Strike the pose.
Getting their grove on?  ha ha ha ha ha
Aaaaahh there are those pretty girls. Danielle and Kara.
 Brady?? Oh yeah!
I'm bias... he is such a cute boy!
 Really.... You are !!
OK... I'm done!

Swinging, Homecoming Style

The Swing
Author: Robert Louis Stevenson - 1850-1894

How do you like to go up in a swing?
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside--

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown -
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!
What do a group of fun teenagers do before a dance?
Go to the park and swing!!!
I love this! I think they are absolutely sooo much fun!
In this day and age, it's nice to see teenagers having fun in a clean way -- and who cares what others think. They are enjoying life and having good clean fun.

In reality ..... who's having a better life?
The fun / smart / weird kids - or the "I'm too cool or I need to party" kids?

What a great life these good kids are making for themselves.
Not to cool to enjoy the sun, a park, and a swing set.
Laughing and loving life.
When they grow up, they will realize, that they did stop and smell the roses.
Yes, even the boys hopped on the swings.
But, not sitting in the seat. Are they too cool? *wink.

But, look....  they can move those swings - even though they are standing on them.
The song,

"I hope you Dance"

has a whole new look for these kids getting ready to go to the dance... Playing in the park.
They are a hoot!

Beautiful!
Weeeeeeeeeee!

Homecoming Dance

Now that Brady is 16 years old, I encouraged him to go the Homecoming Dance. His friends decided to go as a group - no dates. I liked it! They dressed up and went to the dance together.
They stopped by a park and did a photo shoot. There a lots of photos that I will be adding later.
The went to dinner at Carino's.
Then off to the dance. Brady had a really great time dancing with all of his friends.

I asked if he slow danced - and he said there wasn't very many - maybe one. Which is good, because it grossed him out. He said it was like people having sex on the dance floor. I am glad he was grossed out by that. He's a good kid - and NO, he didn't dance a slow one.

Here are some of his friends. There are a couple that I don't have names for - but I got most of them. They are in the slide at the park. Fun colors!
