Recipe for Biscuit and Gravy

Ingredients:
1 lb of sausage - I like Jimmy Dean regular
2 tablespoons of butter
6 tablespoons of flour
3 1/2 cups of milk
3/4 teaspoon of salt - or to your taste
1/8 teaspoon of pepper - or to your taste
Can of biscuits - I like Pillsbury Grands (for this batch of gravy - it will take at least 2 cans of biscuits. I freeze half of the gravy for a later date and only make 1 can of biscuits)
Put biscuits in oven and to cook while making the gravy.
Brown the sausage and then set it a side.
Add butter to the pan and melt.

Add flour and make a rue.

Slowly add milk and whisk out the lumps.
Add sausage back to the gravy.


Biscuits are cooked and gravy is ready.
Cut biscuit in half, top with gravy and enjoy! Yum!
