Here is my cookie recipe for Mrs. Fields Cookies:
2 sticks butter (room temperature)
3/4 cup of sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cup flour (Most times I use 3 1/4 cups flour - and you have to pack the flour down pretty good - or else they will be flat.)
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp soda
2 to 3 cups milk chocolate chips
Cream butter well; (but do not melt butter). Combine sugars; add to butter. cream together good. Add eggs and vanilla - beat well. Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture. Mix good. Add chocolate chips. Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper (I don't do this). Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, do not over bake. (My oven takes 11 minutes to cook)
When you take them out of the oven, you may think they still need to cook. Don't do it!!!! Just let them sit on the pan for about 5 minutes and then move to a cooling rack. I actually just add them to a paper towel on the counter. Even though they make look raw... I promise - they will taste yummy!
Also when I scoop out the cookie with my handy dandy cookie scoop - I add chocolate chips to the top of the ball. That is how they look so uniform above. (there are chocolate chips in the dough too - but I just add more to before I bake them).. Plus, I love how they look with Chocolate chips on the top.
I use this cookie dough with Butterscotch chips, M&M's - any type of chips or nuts you like.
They are gooey and yummy.

I love, love, love these cookies! If I wasn't feeling so lazy tonight I would bake them right now!
