After our Wicked show, we headed over to my niece Robyn's house for the Easter egg hunt. While we were hiding eggs Jason was asked to help them put up this massive, heavy duty basketball hoop in their drive way.
It had to be a group effort because it was so heavy.
All the neighborhood men were asked to come and help too.
It was quite the production to get it in the base that was cemented into the ground.
It taxed all of their strength to get it up.
Colt is in kindergarten this year, so this basketball hoop should last throughout his life time and those of his children's. Wow! It is top of the line and very sturdy.
This past year Colt played on a 2nd grade basketball team (while he is in kindergarten) and was one of the best on the team. I see great things for that little athlete.
It was a relief that it was finally up and secured. Lucky for Robyn's husband that so many strong men were around to help them out.
Colt, our silly athlete. I am curious to see where life takes this little boy. Wherever it is, I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun.
Robyn's cute little family.

My youngest daughter just got into basketball this last year and she really wants a big hoop. I had no idea it was so hard to set those up.
