9/11/01 Remembered

It's been 12 years since the terrorist attacks on New York City's World Trade Center buildings and the pentagon in Washington D.C.

September 11th makes a somber anniversary for Americans, but especially families who have lost loved ones in the fight against terror.

I am so tired of war. The thought of going into another war wearies me, especially when the US soil has not been hit. I hope and pray that a diplomatic resolution can be reached with Syria. I don't want our nation to send out young men and women to fight someone else's war. I'm tired of war, I want peace.

I don't even watch the new anymore. Instead I choose joy in my life by living it without all the hype the news puts on about what goes on in this world. I guess I rather live my life peacefully in Idaho with my head buried in the sand then focus my attentions on the evil in the world.

I can't believe anyone would back President Obama going to war with Syria. They absolutely HATED President Bush for going to war when the attack happened on American Soil. But now we have a President who will start an American war without an attack on American soil - that I cannot understand.

Let's all remember what happened on 9/11. Lets focus on keeping our boarders safe, our people safe and never forget what this war has cost so many people who have been effected by 12 years of war.

I'm sooooo over war. I want peace. I want my children to exist in peace. I want our leaders to ensure our safety here on American soil.

I do appreciate all the men and women who fight for our freedom every day. Thank You.

Blackmoore new book by Julianne Donaldson

Julianne Donaldson's 2nd book "Blackmoore" release date is September 10th. I'm really excited and have pre-ordered this on my kindle for only $7.99. I can't wait to read it tomorrow. The reviews say that it's just as good as Edenbrooke.

I recommended Edenbrooke last month because I absolutely fell in love with this book and Julianne's writing. You can read my review here:
At eighteen, Kate Worthington knows she should be getting serious about marriage, but her restless heart won t let her settle down. To escape her mother's meddlesome influence, she dreams of traveling with her spinster aunt to exotic India. But when the opportunity arises, Kate finds herself making a bargain with her mother: she will be allowed to go only if she spends a season at the family s wealthy estate, Blackmoore, where she must secure and reject three marriage proposals. Enlisting the help of her dearest childhood friend, Henry Delafield, Kate sets out to collect her proposals so she can be on her way. But Henry s decision to help threatens to destroy both of their dreams in ways they could never imagine.

Set in Northern England in 1820, Blackmoore is a regency romance that tells the story of a young woman struggling to learn how to listen to her heart.

With hints of Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters, Blackmoore is a page-turning tale of romance, intrigue, and devotion.

You can purchase the Kindle addition for only $7.99 or the paperback book for only $9.59 from Amazon here:

I'm very excited that the book is finally out. I love reading wonderful clean romance books that touch my heart the way her books do!

Update 9/11/01
Just finished reading Blackmoore, sniffle, sniffle. Here is my Amazon review:

I loved Blackmoore! To find a true love that you protect and cherish by giving up any thought for your own heart. It was heart breaking how a dysfunctional family can make you feel unloved or believe you do not deserve to be loved. But have the strength to break away from all the cages that hold you back from living your life. To find true love that will always exists. Through the tears and heart break, I loved this book as much as Edenbrooke. Thanks Julianne for giving us another wonderful novel.
