Friday March 5th, Brady attended the play Honk! with his friend Danielle and her family.
Brady loved the show! He loved the acting and was motivated to really put more into his upcoming performance as the Jester in Once Upon a Mattress.
The play was held at Northwest Nazarene University.
Honk is based on Hans Christian Andersen's "The Ugly Duckling"
Poor little grey duckling - or ugly duckling. Hmmmmm where did he come from.
The wild goose chase.
The story portrays the young life of an odd-looking baby duck, Ugly, and his journey from being rejected to rejoicing in being different.
The play is filled with colorful characters and music. It will lift your spirits.
Then of course the transformation from the Ugly Duckling to the beautiful Swan.
I'm glad Brady was able to attend this great performance. I'm sad I missed it.
I need to start checking when NNU puts on plays. I need to start going.
Only a few more days until Brady's play.....I can't wait!!!!

How fun! I love plays and sure wish I could see your son's play.
Looks like a great one. Great photos! We'll have to catch that one next time there's a production around here. I know I saw posters not long ago, but we missed it. I didn't know what it was about. Now, I'm thinking it was too bad we missed it.
