TV Room Painted

This was the TV Room before. It had wall paper on the walls.
It was a bigger job then painting the living room. To take off all the wall paper, I had to move all the furniture out of the room. Lots of movies and "stuff". Then I had to paint the ceiling which was still the original light blue color - I painted it white. Then I had to prime all the walls and then painted.
This was the picture of the wall paper off of the walls.
Yeah! It is all painted now. I had to paint the color on the walls two times. I don't know if it was because there is no texture on the wall or if the color was dark. Painting it one time did not cover the white primed walls.
I went with the darker brown on the paint sample on the bottom section. The top section is the same color as the living room (of course). I really love how it turned out.
I absolutely love that the wall paper is GONE!! It sure has warmed up the room and made it seem clean and crisp.

My Mom has been in town all last week and this week. When she saw my new paint color and furniture, she said it looked a lot darker then the pictures. It is really hard to show the paint color with the light and flash from the camera. It is a darker tan and makes the whole room look modern and cozy.

amazing that you can do sooo much! looks wonderful! With school out, my kids have kept me busier, and I've had less time to blog/read blogs/comment.

BTW--my neck is feeling better--not 100%, but better.
