It's hard to imagine now that a few weeks ago my container garden looked like this:
A closer look at the beginnings of my garden. I love that every vegetable plant in my garden was started by seed and not store purchased.
Today it looks like this - WOW!! It sure has grown, and best of all without any weeds.
I even have 7 baby tomatoes growing. Can you see them below? Kinda fuzzy - sorry about that.
My beans are doing great. The second planting of beans are up and looking great. The slug killer seems to have conquered the slugs eating my beans.
I need to eat more salads because my lettuce is totally out of control. Does anyone need lettuce? I need to give it a good clip today.
My carrots are doing good too. I planted a few more seeds in the bare spots. I moved it away from the huge tomato plants - trying to give it more light.
Everything is thriving and growing so well. I really LOVE gardening in a container - who knew it would grow like this with the added bonus of no weeds!
I have to show the growth in the front of my yard. The
inpatients are beautiful. My pots are overflowing with beauty.
The other side - just as beautiful. With the wet spring my plants have really established themselves. They have doubled in size in a few weeks. I have a great feeling that this year will be spectacular!

I think it's already spectacular! Everything looks beautiful! You're going to have fresh tomatoes before you know it! I've always said that I feel rich when I can go out and pick fresh tomatoes off the vine!

You know.. I have done alot of complaining about the rain..
BUT: I have huge beautiful flowers....my lawn is green, we havent had the sprinklers or A/C on more than 5 times in the month of June, and the cooler temps are keeping the flying bugs away...
It's funny once you list the good things.. it far out weighs the bad.
My tomatoes look just like yours! I look forward to them soon!
I just hope my flowers make it going from 50 degrees to 80 degrees..

WOW! I Love that you are growing all of those things in containers! You have got to be one of the most AMBITIOUS people I know and I love your enthusiasm in all of your posts!
There is nothing better than to know you grew the food you are eating yourself. Gardens are awesome and yours is beautiful!
BTW...I tried your mopping tips last weekend on my kitchen and floor and they worked great and WOW, I don't think my kitchen floor has been that clean since I moved into my house (wink).
